Set in the ‘sunny South East’ this castle is a house with a long history. Owned by the Fitzgerald family for hundreds of years, it was passed down for several generations. The house itself is in a beautiful Gothic style, mainly in unrefined rubble stone, and the new build was made in 1895, which replaced the older family home. Atmospheric, magical old-world charm is in abundance here. Waterford city centre is easily accessible from here if you fancy some retail therapy - and the city’s Viking Triangle is a must-see too.
